TOURM7 - Tourmaline var. Uvite with Magnesite and Quartz
$ 195.00
Brumado, Bahia, Northeast Region, Brazil
miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 2 cms

This Uvite has a deep green color, and is pleasantly "stacked," vertically. It has a sprinkling of Magnesite and Quartz crystals, making it a desirable specimen from Brumado. This piece originated through Hawthorneden, back when they were readily being found. Since then, the supply of good Uvites has dried up. Pic #3 is the back side of the specimen, also attractive and with a small area missing a crystal (not too eye catching and it's on the back!).

AQUA8 - Beryl var. Aquamarine (etched)
$ 239.00
Itatia Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil
small cabinet - 6.5 x 5.0 x 3.0 cm

This beautiful Aquamarine was naturally etched by acids occuring deep in the Earth during, or after the original Beryl crystal formed. It has hundreds of "crystal faces," due to the etching phenomenon. It conjures images of icebergs and glaciers. It came out of a "stash," from the Hawthorneden inventory we purchased several years ago. It has no damage. It weighs 87 grams.

ROSE3 - Quartz Var. Rose
$ 235.00
Lavra da Ilha Pegmatite, Taquaral, Itinga, Aracuai, Minas Gerais, Brazil
small cabinet - 5.1 x 5 x 2.3 cm

This Rose quartz is very bright,its lustre makes you think it's been sprayed with silicon (it has not). It has a great, rich pink color and good crystallization. It's rather translucent, and the color is better in person than the pics. Fine condition with a small flat section of contact in the upper left that is (not damaged).

QUARTZ57 - Quartz Var. Rose
$ 95.00
Galiléia, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil
thumbnail - 2.2 x 2.2 x 1.5 cm

I spent several hours pouring through a recently found pocket of over 10,000 rose quartz specimens fresh from the mine in Brazil. This was in the top 2 pieces.  It has a distinct pink color, with bright, long crystal length up to 1.0 cm. It has no damage at all not even on the back or base. I can mount this on an acrylic base for anyone who buys it (just ask). It weighs 6 grams.
